Product Description

    ALPHA-STEP® PC-48 is an anionic surfactant derived from oleochemicals. Its hydrophobic chain distribution, which ranges from C12 to C18, enables formulators to achieve excellent detergency, foaming and mildness across a variety of application areas.

    This speciality ingredient is particularly suitable for household and industrial liquid laundry formulations, dish care, hard surface cleaners, hand soaps, specialty foam applications, body care and facial skin care.

    Key benefits include:

    • Low viscosity response

    • Able to clarify formulas with high levels of electrolytes.

    • Extremely versatile - functions well in hard water, having favourable hard water tolerance and lime soap dispersing ability

    • Easily formulated between a pH of 4 to 9
