We continue to grow and are currently looking for a Technical Account Manager (m/f/d) for the Personal Care and Cosmetics sector.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Technical-commercial role in the B2B environment in the cosmetics / personal care sector
  • Understand and market our extensive ingredient portfolio
  • Acquire new customers and provide active support for our current ones
  • Identify customer requirements and new product development needs
  • Offer outstanding technical advice on the selection of formulation ingredients
  • Record all strategic and tactical sales activities in CRM
  • Preparation of quotations, reply to price enquiries and sample or information requests
  • Manage sales results via agreed KPI (Key Performance Indicators), sales and gross profit targets
  • Close cooperation with the Customer Service department

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • At least 8 years of experience in consultative sales of technical demanding products and services (preferably in the B2B industry)
  • Proven success in above-average increase in sales and gross profit
  • High performance mindset, commitment and team spirit
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Conversational English
  • Computer skills (MS Office + ERP/CRM)

Desirable

  • Experience in the personal care industry. Intensive onboarding and training will be provided.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in cosmetics and detergent technology, life science or chemistry.
