As part of Surfachem's Spring/Summer Surf-It our colleague Cristina Mienelle from Bregaglio has dived into the Jellyfish trend that is taking the world of personal care by storm. Cristina works as the marketing manager & "Coolhunter" at our Bregaglio offices in Italy and constantly researches into the newest trends in the personal care industry. Her expertise has identified the jellyfish movement as a captivating trend that embodies the perfect blend of nature and science, offering unique textures, intriguing formulations, and unparalleled skin benefits.
The concept of Jellyfish and Water are connected because the life cycle of some species of jellyfish involve phase changes similar to the state change of water; this includes a solid stage (polyp), liquid/gel (medusa), gaseous (dispersion of the egg/spermatozoid) and water vapour (in the atmosphere, when the jellyfish is at the end of its life returns to be water). This completes the cycle of eternal transformations.
This trend has made it's way into various personal care products and brands due to it's adaptability and unique aesthetic.
Surfachem have developed a range of exciting formulations that embrace the wonderful world of jellyfish! To discover these formulations or to discuss how Surfachem can help your brand, speak to your Surfachem representative today or contact us here.
