On Thursday 4th February, Surfachem, part of the 2M Group of Companies hosted its fifth Colleague Recognition Awards.
First introduced five years ago, our recognition awards have become a popular feature in the calendar. As in previous years, awards were presented across the 2M Group of Companies to those that have encompassed our values in their day-to-day working life. The award winners have gone above and beyond, therefore this initiative continues to recognise our teams’ hard work and efforts throughout the year.
However, in contrast to previous years, we had to do things a little differently this year. This year’s ceremony marked our first virtual awards, and with over 200 of our team dialling in, it was a huge success and our highest attended awards in their history!
In addition, this year’s awards were rolled out across the entire 2M Group of Companies. We did this to unite teams across the global to celebrate togetherness and Group wide efforts. During such a difficult 2020 whereby digital technology had never been so important, we utilised digital platforms to transform our awards into a true celebration for everyone across the Group, from Operations to our office staff.
Here’s what some of our Directors had to say about our winning colleagues.
With 11 awards up for grabs, nominations were made for team members across the 2M Group of Companies. From Sales and Marketing, to Logistics and Operations, our award winners were from a whole host of departments, highlighting the critical nature of everyone’s roles and the importance of our team culture.
