SURFAC® AQ is a high-performance, bio-based additive designed to boost the cleaning efficacy of a wide range of formulations, particularly those aiming for low classification under CLP regulations.

Developed by Surfachem, this aqueous performance booster is composed of environmentally favourable ingredients, including plant-derived solvents, surfactants, chelating agents, and botanical extracts such as aloe vera, argan oil, neem oil, thymus, and valerian. With a bio-renewable carbon index (BCI) of at least 80% and zero animal-derived content, it supports sustainability-focused product development.
Surfac AQ enhances detergency, wetting, and streak-free cleaning performance, even at low inclusions ranging from 0.5% to 3% across multiple applications such as kitchen sprays, bathroom cleaners, floor mops, and automotive care products. It is pH neutral, stable across broad pH ranges, and blends easily with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic systems.
