Product Description

    Synthetic Dyes



    Sensient Beauty’s synthetic dyes portfolio includes a comprehensive range of FD&C, D&C, and Ext. D&C dyes, along with EC food dyes in powder form, designed to meet the highest standards for cosmetic formulations. These products offer water-soluble and oil-soluble colours that conform to global cosmetic colour regulations.



    • Unicert®-J: A globally approved range of synthetic dyes, including water-soluble and oil-soluble grades, compliant with European, American, Japanese, and Chinese regulations.

    • Bromo Acid: pH sensitive dyes that change colour depending on the alkaline condition they're in.

    • Phat: A category of oil soluble, FDA certified dyes. Based on anthraquinone, quinoline and diazo dyes.

    • EC Food Dyes: Synthetic dyes in powder form, meeting purity criteria and characteristics set by EC Food Directive 231/2012/EU, and providing vibrant colours for cosmetics.



    Natural Dyes



    Natural dyes in Sensient Beauty's portfolio, under the Natpure® Col brand, are derived from renewable vegetal sources and meet the purity criteria set by the EC Food Directive 231/2012/EU. These dyes offer excellent stability, quality, and safety, adhering to stringent regulations while providing vibrant, natural colour options for cosmetic formulations.
