Product Description

    Natural Solutions

    • Aloe: Pigments treated with aloe providing a hydrophobic and odourless surface treatment. This system allows for high pigment loads whilst maintaining fluidity. It provides a dry, light feel and helps soothe skin and improve moisture.

    • Botanical Avocado (BA): Pigments treated with avocado oil providing a hydrophobic surface treatment for make-up and sun care formulations. This system allows high pigment loads whilst maintaining fluidity. Suited for pressed powders due to its superior compressibility and high shock resistance it provides a light, creamy skin feel.

    • Hydrogenated Lecithin (HLC): Pigments treated with hydrogenated lecithin providing a natural, hydrophobic solution. Particularly suited for W/O, W/Si and anhydrous products, it has excellent stability and dispersibility in oils and due to its amino acid structure has great affinity for the skin, imparting a smooth, creamy feel.

    • Sodium Glycerophosphate (SGP): Pigments treated with sodium glycerophosphate providing a hydrophilic solution which allow easy dispersion and enhanced stability in water gels and O/W emulsions. It allows formulators to easily adjust the shade of O/W foundations during or after production and provides excellent moisturising properties.

    • Phytic Acid (PHY): Pigments treated with phytic acid providing a hydrophilic solution. It is easily dispersible and allows for high pigment loads whilst maintaining a fluid formulation.

    Synthetic Solutions

    • Alkyl Silane (AS): Pigments treated with triethoxycaprylylsilane providing excellent hydrophobicity and dispersibility in oils and silicones. It allows the creation of fluid, bright high solid dispersions and provides improved adhesion and wear resistance.
